Windy Ridge Hunt Club

This is a few pictures that I took from my visit to the Windy Ridge Hunt Club in the Piedmont area of Georgia.  Shawn Wommack was gracious enough to give me and my wife Salome the "Grand Tour".  I have to admit that Shawn's Club more than met my expectations.  In fact, the whole time I was out there on the 500 acres, I couldn't find one area that didn't look like a deer would jump up at any minute.  I am definitely going to be a member of this club and I feel honored that Shawn has given me the opportunity to join.

Here are a few pictures that I took while riding around the property.  I should have taken a lot more, but I was to engrossed in just viewing the breathtaking views, the wonderful locations to hunt from and the hospitality of the Wommack clan.  I promise that the next time I go up there (While hunting) I will take more images.

This as I had just arrived at the base camp.  It is early in the season and nothing is really setup at this time.  Also a 10 year flood came in and they had to move all of their campers up hill 100 yards.	This is Shawn showing ma the river where monster catfish can be found.	This is us loosing up for the tour with some Mexican iced tea.
This is me at the top of the mountain.	This is a small view from the mountain.	Right now the leaves are pretty thick, but as fall comes around all of these leaves will drop off and the visibility will reach all the way to the bottom of this draw (approx 100 yards) and across to the other ridge making this a perfect ambush site for a rifle.
Another view headed back down the mountain.	If you like hunting pastures, tree lines and corners, there is an unlimited number of them.	A nice fence line and funnel.
