These images were taken after an evening and then morning sitting in our tree stands. (My son Wesley was with me for these shots.) This video contains 6 minutes of a spike (2 pointer) and an approximately 100 pound wild hog. Although both were small, both are completely legal in the Everglades. Really, anything that you can take legal in the swamps is a trophy to be proud of.

This is a webpage full of images and videos that I have created to allow my friends to view what we have encountered while scouting for the 2002 hunting season. I apologize in advance for the quality of these images. Although I have spent heaping quantities of money for hunting gear, I had to draw the line the photographic equipment. These images were our first attempt to record our trips and our techniques leave a lot to be desired. I am sure our next attempt will be much better after we learn from our mistakes. Some of these images were taken at long distances and we were way up (30 feet) in tree stands being buffeted by winds. I hope that you enjoy what we have captured.
The still shots are of a nice 4X5 buck that walked right by our stands. The video captures a spike, a 3X3 and a 2X1 and finally the same 4X5.
